NPV Formula in transacton JBRX

Hello,

 

I already customized the system to get the NPV in transaction JBRX & AISGENKF, and the system already calculated the NPV, but my client ask me about the calculation formula that SAP used to get the NPV.

 

I was looking information and I found the following information:

 

The NPV can either be calculated via the Yield or the Discount , with the following formulas being used for linear discounting:

 

NPV calculation via yield :

NPV = Nominal value / (1 + interest rate/100 * days/daily basis)

NPV calculation via discount:

NPV = Nominal value * (1 - interest rate/100 * days/daily basis)

 

If exponential discounting is used for terms greater than one year, the following formulas are used:

 

NPV calculation via yield:

NPV=

Nominal value / (1 + interest rate/100) ** (days/daily basis)

NPV calculation via discount:

NPV =

Nominal value * (2 - (1 + interest rate/ 100) ** (days/daily basis)

 

Are those the formulas used in JBRX transaction? or where I could find this with more details?

Electronic bank statment: CML - overpayment

Hi,

 

I'm using CML module.

 

I am using the transaction FF_5 to load the bank statement and apply the payments.

 

But In this case, the customer paid more than the open items required - the system genereted an overpayment.

 

If  I process the bank statement by tranasaction FF67 I don't have problem in automaticaly the system account the overpayment with flow type 4530, however if process the  bank statement by tranasaction FF_5 the system not post the overpayment, send me the message: "the difference is too long..."

 

I was looking information about the electronic bank statement configuration and I found that I can use the interpretation algorithm

041 TR: First loan search, then standard

But when I Choose

Financial Accounting -> Bank Accounting -> Business Transactions -> Payment Transactions

-> Electronic Bank Statement -> Make Global Settings for Electronic Bank Statement

. Select a chart of accounts and choose

Create Transaction Type -> Assign External Transaction Types to Posting Rules.

Enter a transaction type defined previously in the IMG activity

But the interp. algorithm 041 is not here.

 

How I can Activate the  algorithm 041?

 

That's the reason because the Electronic bank statemt not function with overpayment?

 

Somebody could help me? please.

This is in regards to the FUND MANAGEMENT.

 

Under SPRO  >>  PUBLIC SECTOR MANAGEMENT  >>  GEN SET  FOR PUBLIC SECTOR MANAGEMENT >>  BASIC SETTINGS: ACCOUNT ASSIGNMENT ELEMENTS  >>  ACTIVATE ACCOUNT ASSIGNMENT ELEMENTS.

 

I was trying to activate account assignment elements, however, the msg being, "Activating Funds Management is not permitted in sap"........  why this error? any configuration missing?

 

Also, I tried to activate under:

Budget Control Systems -- Basic Settings -- Use of Master Data -- Activate account assignment Elements in Budget Control Systems

 

However, the error being...  Fund not active with FM area 6000

 

I would be highly obliged if you could suggest me in resolving this issue, to work on FUND MANAGEMENT.

ftr_create - create a new transaction as copy of an old transaction

dear all,

i need to create many news transactions, isn't thaere a method to copy an old transaction ?  i know that in sap-fi fb01 allows me to create a document as a copy of an old document.

Dear Experts

What are the parameters/customizing to be done to resolve the following error.

"Posting for general ledger account 135345  amount   675.87 set in batch input"

 

This err am getting after running the tcode fagl_fc_val.

 

I could post all the entries which shows in sm35, this was due to some cost centre missing. But there are 11 error lines shows as mentioned above.

 

How i can resolve these errors & can post the same ?

Partial Interest- Interest Rate Instrument

Hi Friends,

 

Could you please let me know your views on how to go about the below scenario?

 

We map the Debts using Interest Rate Instrument Product type 55A in SAP.

 

Even though interest is calculated monthly the payment is done irregularly. Therefore we also accrue monthly interest and post to GL thru TBB4.

So for every interest flow I have an accrual flow.

 

Now the requirement is if there is a partial principal pay down during a mid-month, system calculates interest upto to that date on entire base amount and then for the remaining period on the reduced base amount. This is acceptable for us in most cases.

 

But there are cases where they would make the payment for the past accrued periods only on the principal which is being repaid and keep accruing on the unpaid principal amount.

 

For example: Interest per month is $100

Months accrued April-May

A partial principal amount was repaid in June which brings down monthly interest to $60.

 

So when we run TBB1 system posts $100+$100+$80 ( $50 for 15 days+ $30 for the balance 15 days) in June.

 

Business wants to pay $120 (40*3) for June when the partial principal amount was repaid.

 

Could you please let me know is it possible to achieve this , if so how?

Limit utilization not done.

Hello Experts.

 

I created one Limit Type RU1. I entered determination procedure as 01, update category as 2, and generate limit check in automatic generation. I assigned limit characteristic as BUKRS - Company Code and RPORTB - Portfolio. I did't entered anything for "Limit type filters" setting.

Refer Screenshot for entire setting for limit type.

 

I didn't do any other setting except this.

 

After above config, I maintained Limit Amount in TCode TBL1 against Company Code "1100" and Portfolio as "Future1100"

I maintained Internal Limit amount as Rs. 25Lacs and Valid To date (for internal) as 31.12.9999

I maintained external Limit amount as Rs. 25Lacs and Valid To date (for external) as 31.12.9999

From Date in both cases is 01.04.2013.

 

After maintaining above limits, I posted one transaction using FTR_CREATE in company code "1100" and portfolio "Future1100" of Rs. 10 Lacs on 18.04.2013. After saving and settling above transaction, I saw Report TBLB (overview). There system shows same amount of Rs.25Lacs. That too when I checked "Limits without Utilization" option. It means limit is not utilized.

 

Further when I posted another entry of Rs. 90 Lacs, system didn;t checked above mentioned limits. System straight away allowed posting. Limit utilization is not done.

 

Please tell me the reason, why "limit utilization" functionality is not updated. What configuration or steps i am missing.

Note: We are on EHP6. We are not posting accounting entry for any of the transaction and we are doing this for Future Derivatives.

Classification of Shares ( Equity)

Hello Expert,

 

I have some query related to our treasury module - eqity (product type 1A)

Generally company classifies it shares in two classes.

 

1.  Class A share 

2. Class B share. (Differance : one of the shaer is having more voting rights).

 

Now the problem is how we map this classification of share in SAP ( one solution : I can add these class in General Security Classification in t.code FWZZ). Is there any otherway where we defined these classes ?

 

Suppose i have maintained class as above ( in FWZZ general classification) and I have created two security ids one for class A and other for Class B. Now the scenario is my class A has 25 share transfered in Class B and i got the 100 class B share with refrence to class A 25 share. Now how system wil take care of this situation. I am not able to figure out.

 

It should reduce 25 share from security id 1 and add 100 share in security id 2.

 

Please help or atleast suggest is this possible or not ?

Memo record (FF63) reflection in FF7A

Colleagues, I am trying to align my understanding of process of bank funds transfer. Please correct me if I am wrong.

 

1.     Advice document creation in FF63. Two advice documents are created (for 1st bank account and for 2nd bank account).

2.     After creation memo records, are these record reflected in FF7A transaction or not?

3.     Payment request creation in FF.D. After payment request creation the memo records are archived automatically. Are any records reflected in FF7A transaction or not?

4.     Run F111 and the payment proposal and then payment order are created. Is the posting in FI done during the F111 run?

5.     On the next day EBS comes and FF_5 makes the loading of EBS to the system. Are actual transfers reflected in FF7A transaction or not?

FF7A / FF7B Cash Mgt configuration

I am new in Cash Mgt.

In order to make use of standard report FF7A, FF7B to see cash flows at customer , vendor and gl account base.

What min. config I have to do in SAP ?

 

I just know I have to set GL account for Planning Level, Tick on Relevant to cash flow.

How about the other config. Can someone provide me a list of config ?

Customer Delivery when LC under Process/Amendment

Dear Experts,

 

 

We are facing one issue relevant for LC sales, We have steel manufacturing companies and implemented SAP our sales employees

are creating sales orders standard a well as LC Sales orders for same customer (XYZ),

 

Ex: if the sales order 1000 tons some times customer use to call and tell  He will pay by LC for 500 tons. the sales coordinator will copy the existing standard sales order and create the LC sales order for 500 tons value.  when LC value will be finished some times the LC will goes to Bank for amendment

in that time if customer requires the dispatch on urgent basis our sales coordinator will copy the sales order from LC to standard and do the dispatch. in this way it will becoming panic for accounts to track the billing documents to create commercial Invoice there are two sales document type for standard sales will run the credit management and LC sales run on documentary payments.

FWTR059 - Update types are not defined in Customizing for the open-flow

Hi colleagues,

 

 

I was setting a plain FX Spot instrument in such a manner:

      • 3 Flow types are available: '0010 - Forex trans. charge', '1000 - Buy foreign exchange' and finally '2000 - Sell foreign exchange';

      • relevant Update types FX0010, FX0010-, FX1000 and FX2000- are assigned to above mentioned Flow types.

 

However when I'm trying to test my setup and want to enter a deal in the system, I get the following error message:

      • message no. FWTR059

      • message heading - Update types are not defined in Customizing for the open-flow.

 

Would appreciate your help solving that issue.

Hello Expert,

 

This been 2 days i'm trying my best to find the solution for the above mention issue but not luck.

 

So need the assistance from expert.

 

I created deal for Forex (TT-101) and settle the same while trying to execute TBB1 for the post its showing no flow exist.

 

When i refer the Cash flow tab it showing 2 standard flows 1000 for Buy and 2000 for sale.

 

I have checked posting date in TBB1 which is today's, even i created deal(FTR_Create) today its self with same key value date  and i refer the customization -Indicate Update type as relevant for posting and seems perfect to me.

 

Please provide your valuable inputs for the same.

We customize following steps

I create new deal in CC 5000 system says mirror config is incomplete.

 

I am check program RFTB_MIRROR_CUSTOMIZING_CHECK system showing following message.

 

Mirror: Inbound mapping for INCOMING in cocd 5000 is not maintained correctly

Message no. FTR_MIR014

 

Mirror: Outbound mapping for cocd 5500 product 55J 200 is not maintained

Message no. FTR_MIR017

 

Mirror: Inbound mapping for INCOMING in cocd 5500 is not maintained correctly

Message no. FTR_MIR014

 

Which step missing in customization.

Payment currency differs from contract currency in TRM deals

Hi all,

 

Have a problem and wonder if SAP has any more ore less standart decision.

The case is that payment currency of Interest rate deal is different from contract currency. So, to get payment amount it is needed to calculate amount in contract currency (i.e. interests to be paid) and translate it into amount in payment currency. I see the only way - to use BADi TPM_ACCIF_TRAC to modifi FI document and fill the fields BSEG-PYAMT and BSEG-PYCUR. But for us it is not the way out because we use payment requests. So, does anybody see any decisions to do it?

 

P.s. The option to use payment amount in deals has not yet been accepted by the client.

Error while creating forward contract (TX01)

Hi

i am trying to create forward contract by using transaction code TX01. I am giving folloiwng paratemer:-

company code - XXXX

Product Type - 60B

Transaction Type - 102

Partner - 100

 

while pressing enter, getting following error message:-

 

"Partner 100 not authorized for selected transaction type"

 

Request members to help me to resolve above error. if possible please revert with transaction code where I can look to resolve the above error.

Initalization Error in parallel valuation areas - Postings in other non-leading ledgers directly to the reconciliation account

Dear Expert,

 

My requirement is to run parallel accounting with parallel ledger in SAP Treasury and Risk Management modules. I have made all the necessary configurations required for the same. The business partner is integrated with the customer and will try to execute TPM_INITIALIZE for OTC product group for non leading ledger – 002.

But during step 3 – "Fix/post the business transactions to treasury ledger", I got an error – "Account marked as a reconciliation account for account type D and cannot be therefore be directly posted to" . 

But I have designed the parallel ledger configuration for treasury products based on the following prerequisite as mentioned below-

·    The new general ledger is switched to active; several ledgers are addressed

·     Posting in leading ledger to customer account

·      Postings in other non-leading ledgers directly to the reconciliation account

 

I have assigned the general ledger posting key to posting specification of reconciliation account for valuation area 002 with account symbol catgeory 2 (subledger posting in payment currency) and for operative valuation area - 001 I have define a posting key for a customer account posting.

 

However i can't figure where am i stuck. Please suggest.

Runtime error MESSAGE_TYPE_X has occurred

While processing a manual back reconciliation statement, I had to manually clear some open items using FB05 and this error came up 'Runtime error MESSAGE_TYPE_X occurred' and the process was terminated.  A dump was created in ST22 with 'MESSAGE_TYPE_X, ABAP Program SAPLGLT0,

Parameters

Message           : GLT0/000

Program           : SAPLGLT0

Termination point : BALANCE_CCODE

 

Can any one help with the solution to this?

Data migration from Non SAP to SAP system

Hello Expert

 

We are doing customization for TRM and this is our first implementation.

 

Could you please tell what all customization should be there for data migration apart from basic configuration.

 

Also, Step and way to import the data in system.

 

Its seems we have usage for the update type which will be used but not sure about the process.

 

We have done customization for most of sub module in Treasury

Money market

Foreign exchange

securities

OTC/Derivatives

Market risk analyzer

 

For example: In FI we can create LSMW for anything to import the data and it wont required any special customization apart from basic.
